Unfinished Engineered Flooring

Unfinished Engineered Flooring is basically a new addition to the flooring market.
Initially designed to suit the condo or highrise market, engineered flooring is becoming a common addition to residential and commercial construction as well.
With the increased structural stability offered by engineered flooring and the flexibility of installation, engineered flooring products are popping up in standard home builds and commercial applications.
For residential homes, it gives the consumer the ability to add real wood floors through the entire area of the dwelling, below grade and above grade.
And now with the availability of unfinished engineered flooring, you can install and choose your own stain color and finish.
Why Unfinished Engineered?!
Why is unfinished engineered flooring so much better?
- Flexibility - with the ability to install on any level of the house, and over practically any substrate, unfinished engineered flooring allows for a much more consistent look throughout the dwelling!Glue it, nail it, staple it or float it!
- Stability - the cross-ply construction of the engineered sub-layer creates a highly dimensionally stable product. Less movement in the floor, as can happen in huge degrees with solid hardwood, especially in wider widths. We recommend unfinished engineered for any wide plank installation for any application, residential or commercial. Less fuss means one more worry of your mind.
- Creativity - With unfinished, you get to choose exactly what you want! Choose the wood species, the width, the grade, the stain color, the type of finish, the sheen level to your own exacting specification. Design your own floor. It gives so much satisfaction!
